Performance and Efficiency
Under the hood, the 2019 Toyota Corolla SE features a responsive 1.8L I-4 DOHC engine with Dual VVT-i variable valve control, generating 132HP. Power is smoothly delivered through an advanced Continuously Variable Transmission with intelligence and Shift Mode (CVTi-S), complete with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters for drivers who enjoy full control over their gear transitions. Designed for maximum highway efficiency, this sedan achieves an impressive EPA-estimated 28 MPG in the city and 35 MPG on the highway, supported by a 13.2-gallon fuel tank for extended driving range. An independent front strut suspension with coil springs and a rear torsion beam suspension with gas-pressurized shock absorbers work together to absorb road imperfections, delivering a compliant and quiet ride. Mounted on 17-inch machined alloy wheels with black-painted accents and wrapped in P215/45R17 all-season tires, the Corolla combines precise electronic power-assist speed-sensing steering with front vented disc brakes for reliable stopping power and confident handling.
Smart Technology and Connectivity
Inside the driver-centric cabin, the Corolla SE keeps you easily connected and entertained on every journey. The center console features a 6.1-inch primary touchscreen display managing the Entune audio system, which broadcasts clear sound through a 6-speaker setup equipped with an automatic equalizer. Integrated Bluetooth hands-free phone capability and wireless audio streaming allow you to seamlessly manage calls and play your favorite playlists. Siri Eyes Free voice-activated audio controls let you manage media without taking your hands off the leather-wrapped steering wheel, which also hosts integrated controls for display and audio settings. Auxiliary input and a USB port provide easy connection options for your personal devices, while an analog instrumentation cluster displays vital vehicle information along with an exterior temperature gauge.
